Creek & Gully Cider

When it comes to organic farming in BC the Simonsen family has been at it longer then most. Peter Simonsen has been farming 60 Acres of organic apples, pears, and peaches on Naramata Bench that were first certified over 30 years ago.

With organic farming, occasionally russeting or other cosmetic blemishes occur. Though it doesn’t change the flavor of the apples it often means they are barred from the produce aisle. Annelise Simonsen saw an opportunity in this and started Creek and Gully. First intended as a project to utilize the family’s surplus fruit, its grown into a diverse cider and conferment fruit project that has given new life to a variety of misfit fruit.

Under the tutelage of Alyssa Hubert, head cider maker (and winemaker of L-st Projects), this fruit was brought to the bottle under ambient fermentation with little SO2 or additions. I hope you enjoy these ciders and coferments as much as we do.
